Gelso Park is called that because it takes its name from an old and historic mulberry tree at the entrance of the park. 
It is one of the largest green lungs you can find in the urban areas of the Adriatic coast. 
 
It spreads around the lake of the same name, reaching south to the center of Igea Marina. 
 
There is rich vegetation and themed areas. 
 
The park is often visited by fitness enthusiasts and people who enjoy outdoor activities. 
In recent years, an outdoor fitness area has been set up, which is free and open to everyone.
